Elon Musk Criticizes UK Prime Minister, Calls for New Elections

American billionaire Elon Musk, a prominent supporter of U.S. President-elect Donald Trump, has taken aim at UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, calling for fresh elections in the United Kingdom.

In a series of posts, Musk criticized Starmer’s record as the country’s former chief prosecutor, urged the release of far-right activist Tommy Robinson from prison, and expressed his belief that Nigel Farage’s Reform UK party is the only political force capable of “saving” the nation.

A new poll showing waning support for Starmer’s Labour government has prompted Elon Musk to call for a re-vote.

Previously, Musk made headlines by endorsing Germany’s far-right, even penning an opinion piece for Welt am Sonntag in their favor.

The move sparked controversy, culminating in the resignation of the newspaper’s editor, Eva Marie Kogel, who stepped down in protest.

Adding to the uproar, a spokesperson for Alice Weidel, the leader of Germany’s far-right Alternative for Germany (AfD) party, confirmed plans for an online meeting between Weidel and Musk.

On Tuesday, Germany’s Vice Chancellor Robert Habeck condemned Musk’s actions, accusing him of attempting to meddle in the nation’s elections.
